Here they are, all of Mayo's scores (twelve in all) against Galway at Croker yesterday taken from my vantage point in the lower Cusack Stand. Because we were seated over towards the Hill end, the first half clips are better quality. The second half ones, however, were the critical ones.
First came Andy Moran's point from play:
This was followed rapidly by Ger Brady's goal, which arose from a mix-up in the Galway backline but Ger stuck it away nicely:
Next came an Alan Dillon point, which happened so fast I didn't have time to zoom in properly to capture it in all its glory:
Then came another point from play, this time from Aidan Kilcoyne. In the build-up, watch how Kevin O'Neill cleverly switches the play from over on the right, from where the ball is quickly handpassed into Killer:
Next up came two Conor Mortimor frees. Two chances to see the little dance he does when shaping up to kick the ball. Here's the first:
And here's the second:
That was the first half, where the sides went in at 1-5 apiece. We then scored another 1-5 in the second half and this is how we did it. First up was Alan Dillon's goal on the rebound from Mort's penalty:
Then Pat Harte sent over a booming point from way out, probably the score of the day for us. It's a pity I hadn't got the camera rolling a little earlier:
Next up, Alan Dillon with a free. No little jigs to enjoy here but the end result was the same, the point edging us in front for the first time in the match:
Then came a point from play from Enda Devenney. You can't see much of it on the clip but this could easily have been a third goal for us. Instead, Enda blazed it over:
Next came our final score from play, a well-taken fisted effort from Ger Brady, following a neat assist from Dillon:
Our final score was a pointed free from Mort. Here it is, first the dance, then the score:
They think it's all over . . . It's difficult to see on the clip but just before the final whistle, one of our guys was felled in the square and it looked as if the ref was signalling for another penalty. Instead, he decided on the ultimate punishment and blew the full-time whistle:
That's all folks. Hopefully we'll have plenty more to enjoy this day week!

Great stuff! I stumbled across your You Tube page a couple of weeks ago and consequently this one. Hopefully you'll have a journal of John'Os march to eternal greatness in september. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Windy City. I'm hoping that I'll still have something to write about come September. We've had five chapters on September heartbreaks since 1989 but maybe this one could be different!
