Johnno has moved smartly to slap down suggestions that Ciaran McDonald could be fit to play against Galway. This morning's Indo, Hogan Stand and Setanta all carry similar quotes from The Candidate to the effect that it's far too early to say when Super Mac will be able to resume playing. According to Johnno, Mac has made a number of efforts to "refloat" (Setanta say it's "reload") and that this is just the latest one. Refloat? When he was in his pomp, we all felt that Mac could almost walk on water.
